If you follow me on Instagram you will have seen my most recent Yankee Candle purchase “Fireside Treats”. Hickeys pharmacies and many other Yankee candle outlets offer a “Fragrance of the Month” which is a chosen scent reduced to €18.79 (large jar). I usually aways buy one a month anyway and loved that my favourite “Fireside Treats” was included on this month’s offer! I personally think they are worth every cent, I have yet to find another candles to come close to them!

With the Winter evenings drawing in, there is nothing more cosy than candles lit and a warm, homely fragrance. It’s my favourite time of the year to buy Yankee Candles as I much prefer these scents over floral or citrus.

Here is my Top 5 that I have bought numerous times and really love:

Amber Moon

I find this one the hardest to find and usually buy this on on-line. It contains patchouli and sandlewood  – a lovely relaxing and soothing scent. It has Autumn written all over it!

Spiced Orange

If you like citrus scents but nothing to “Summery”, this is perfect. The mix of orange and ginger together smells both fresh and welcoming without being over powering.

Cinnamon Stick

This is a lovely one to use around Christmas time. It always reminds me of that gorgeous cinnamon smell from Christmas Cake mixture! Theres cloves in there too for extra Wintery goodness!

Fireside Treats

This isn’t necessarily a Winter scent as it’s described as “roasting marshmallows around the campfire” but I think it’s perfect for cold evenings, as that marshmallow, slightly vanilla scent is just divine!

Icicles

This is just literally Christmas bottled! This has a hint if cinnamon and is just like a walk in the snow with that lovely icy breeze. Again, this one can be a little tricky to find, but when you find it – buy it!!

Christmas Garland

Ok. So I couldn’t just narrow it down to 5 but this is a gem! It’s perfect if you don’t have a real Christmas Tree but love the scent of one. The mix of pine and cranberry will most definitely put you in the festive spirit, no matter how much of a scrooge you are!
