We all have our favourite beauty products whether it’s an expensive foundation, body lotion, eye cream or serum, and without fail they will ALWAYS run out when you have zero moolah to buy another! This nifty little tool that I’m reviewing will be your new Best Beauty Buddy! Trust me, if you wear makeup, you need it!
A few weeks ago I was running really low on my Estée Lauder Double Wear and if you have ever used this, you will know what a pain in the bum the glass bottle can be! Queue having to turn it upside down to get any remainder left inside, and then dealing with the mess when you try take the lid off!! The Beauty Spoon* is a flipping godsend! Seriously how have I lived without this for so long??
The Beauty Spoon is a super smart tool that allows you to scoop out every last drop of your foundations, lotions, body cream, and whatever else you are running low on! It’s cleverly designed with an easy grip handle and a flexible stem making is so easy to get every drop of your beauty products, something a cotton bud could never do! The silicone spoon has a slight lip on one side making it easy to scoop out the products and actually holding it on the spoon, so no mess! It bends to fit into the smallest bottle necks while still managing to get the product out!
The Beauty Spoon comes in 2 sizes (7″ & 10″) in each pack, making it so simple to use in either your foundation bottles or larger bottles such as shampoos. I found the longer one really useful for tan bottles that have a pump, as I could just scoop it out onto my mitt, and I couldn’t believe how much was left inside! Cleaning this is super quick too as any product just glides off with soap and water or a baby wipe, and your ready to go again!
So who is behind this piece of beauty wizardry? It was created by a former model named Claudia A. Hoexter, who one morning got so frustrated having to use cotton buds and hair clips to get the last of her foundation, sketched out the design and the rest is history! Sales of the Beauty Spoon in Walmart were so high, they couldn’t keep it on the shelves quick enough!
This gadget is pretty hard to come by in Ireland and not a lot of people here have heard of it, but Irish Website beautymatters.ie are stockists and at a great price of only €6.50 and postage costs from just €2.95.
So there you go. You will never have to worry about throwing away money on unused product ever again, or fretting if you will you have enough foundation to last you until payday!

You will love Double Wear! You can buy a MAC pump that will fit the bottle perfectly, I bought a cheap version on ebay for €3.50 and worked great and used far less product.
