SOSU by Suzanne Jackson Launch Night

If you follow me on social media you may have seen my constants updates that I was at the launch of SOSU on Thursday night! SOSU is the new brand by Ireland’s biggest blogger Suzanne Jackson and first from her brand is a range of 25 nail polishes. It was a fantastic evening and was held in the beautiful surroundings of 10 Ormond Quay in Dublin. I have always been in awe of Suzanne and the fantastic name she has made for herself. Starting off in humble beginnings beauty blogging and to make herself into a household name!

Back to the evening, we were met with glasses of bubbly and SOSU backdrop where you could get your photo taken professionally, something I chose to opt out off as I was seriously underdressed for this event! I seen the beautiful Rosanna Davison who looked flawless as always! The venue itself was just perfect for the event; a gorgeous Georgian house with loads tea lights dotted around the rooms. To the back there was a nail bar set up where you could get your chosen shade of polish applied professionally but the queue was pretty long so I didn’t get a chance to try them out on the night.

There was a stand with the full collection of polishes on display so you could see the shades for yourself and some promotional material with the polishes and shades in some more detail. Around 8pm Suzanne address the huge crowd that had gathered to celebrate her launch. 80 people were expected and over 200 were there on the night! Suzanne spoke a little about how she came to launch her brand and that to her amazement the warehouse had fully sold out! This lady is one powerhouse!

I got to meet some fellow bloggers on the night and as I don’t get to many events, it was great to put a faces to the names!  After 9:00pm I headed off and got to get a photo taken ( not a great one! ) with the woman herself. We also received a goodie bag on the way out with a polish from the collection and a few other little bits. I got the shade “Rock Candy” and it’s an absolutely gorgeous shade! I love pink polish but I actually never owned a powder pink, and Im in love with it!

SoSU nail polishes are available now in Penneys and selected pharmacies priced €7.99. Next on my list of shades to try is “I Do”. A beautiful off-white perfect for Summer!

Thanks for reading and many thanks to Revolve PR for organising a fantastic night.

The launch looked fab! What an empire she has built. I’m not a huge fan of nail polish, it lasts about an hour on me so I will definitely try it, see what all the hype is about. Some fab colours too.

I really like the polish collection and I didn’t think I’d be bothered with it, she has some really beautiful shades – dying to try that mint green and the pale one you mentioned! x
