Happy Sunday everyone! I went on a bit of a blog reading spree this week, something which I don’t get to do often enough! Between trying to write my own blog posts and general life, I do set aside at least one night a week to have a good gander at loads of different blogs, leave comments and show some blog love. Here’s a few of the blog posts I really loved reading this week, and there are 2 YouTubers at the end, so check out their videos too! (Pink links bring you directly to the post)
Blogs:
Lovely Girly Bits: Karen put the Bioderma CC Cream through it’s paces with her usual full and in-depth review. I love this CC Cream and agree that it is slightly on the dark side for us paler girls, so hopefully Bioderma will take note and produce a lighter shade.
GlamForce: Gail informed us this week bout the newest face-sculpting technique called “Strobing”. Basically Strobing creates a “spotlight effect” to the high points of the face which both illuminate and freshen up the complexion. It was even featured in the Irish Examiner!
My Little Babóg: Kellie had me in stitches with this hilarious post about when Dad is left alone minding the kids! If your a parent you will relate to this in so many ways and I love how Kellie is so down to earth with her blog showing a “warts n all” view of parenting.
Makeup Monster: I adore Yavanna’s site and I think all bloggers with relate to this post! “Sometimes blogging makes me feel like…” is a truthful insight into the mind of a blogger but in a fun way! I’m also a sucker for gif posts! 🙂
The Beautiful Truth: Sineád’s in-depth review of the famous beauty blender will make up your mind whether or not you need it in your life! Personally It’s my my never ending list of things to buy!
BeautyLymin: Siobhan always updates us with her mini-hauls and this one included her forever re-purchase of the Estée Lauder Night Rapid Recovery Complex, which now has me so intrigued that I need it in my life! Another purchase also included a gorgeous Smashbox eyeshadow trio.
BeautyNook: Gemma done a great in-depth review of the new Smashbox Contour Sticks and gives a step-by-step instructions on how she uses them with before and after photos. Gemma used to be part of the duo Chatterbox.ie and is now out on her own so make sure to check her out!
YouTube:
I don’t get to watch YouTube as much as I would like but these two caught my eye this week:
LetzMakeUp – Siobhan has done probably the most comprehensive comparison foundation video I’ve ever watched. Everyone is talking about the new L’Oreal Infallible foundations and she put them right through their paces! If you are wondering which one to buy, this will definitely help you. Personally I love the matte version.
Selena Finnegan – Selena started YouTube a few months ago and I her videos are coming on leaps and bounds! She has a great sense of humour and her makeup skills are fantastic! This video shows her favourite Essence picks so please check out her channel as she is still very new, but a lady going places!
That’s it for today, make sure to check out and follow all the above blogs if your not already! #bloglove
