I love to treat myself to a little pamper night every so often. Sometimes it just consists of a quick face or hair mask, but when I get the time I like to go all out! It’s so lovely and relaxing and I thought I would fill you in on my latest pamper session.
I love to use candles to really help me relax. I usually have a Yankee Candle (my favourite scent is “Wedding Day”). This Yonka candle was in this month’s Chic Treat box so what better time to use it! It smells like you have just walked into a spa, its really beautiful.
I bought this hair mask last week in McCabes pharmacy for just €2! I have to say, its flipping fantastic! I like to use hair masks as usual conditioners as I have very dry, over-processed hair. I always stock up whenever I see them on offer. This baby was left in for 30mins and my tresses are so soft and frizz free. I will definitely be stocking up on this for sure.
This bath oil was in the June Powderpocket box (sadly they are no more!). I don’t usually have baths very often, I always opt for the shower so this oil gave me the perfect excuse to run a nice hot bath, and totally unwind. This smells divine and left me with super-soft skin.
I adore this body moisturiser, the scent is like a really light spray of perfume on your skin. It’s quite thick in consistency and gets rid of any dryness on your elbows, knees etc. I let this soak into my skin before applying my tan.
My favourite tan of all time. It’s so fool-proof I could nearly put it on in the dark ( well not really but you get my drift!). I am very fair-skinned but I do tan a little in the Summer and this just gives the perfect glow without being overly tanned.
For the past few weeks I have been using my trusted Decleor Hydra Face Mask (you can read my full review here) but I decided to opt for an old favourite. I have always had a tube of this lying around and it never fails to deliver. It’s packed full of skin loving vitamins and gives your skin an amazing boost of moisture. This is very handy for “the morning after the night before” when your skin needs that extra boost.
There is no nicer feeling than a facial massage with oil after your face mask. I previously used Liz Earle Superskin Concentrate but it has sadly ran out. I have replaced it with Holo’s facial oil. I will have to do a full review as this is my first week of using it, but so far so good.
I got some NeoStrata moisturiser in this month’s Chic Treat box and my god it’s so amazing! I absolutely love it (don’t love the price tag) but with this I really do think you get what you pay for. Thankfully you need very little with each use, and I now use it every day.
These get a bit neglected at the best of times, but as I am living in flip-flops I really need to make the extra effort. I love Scholl foot scrub, although any body scrub will work just as well. Afterwards I slather on some foot cream, the Soap & Glory one makes your feet feel kind of tingly and feel really refreshed. My nail polish needed to be re-done so I used Essie “Mint Candy Apple” with Revlon “Girly” on top for that extra sparkle. I really love the end result!
And lastly…New Pj’s!
Every few weeks I love to buy a new set of Pj’s. I have a bit of an obsession when it comes to them, as I am sure most of us do! Of course you can’t beat Penneys – these were €7.
Thanks for reading and I’d love to hear about your pamper nights and what products you like to use.
Much love x
