Nima Brush – 3 Piece Kabuki Set

DSC_0133_Fotor

I was so lucky to receive this Nima Brush set as a gift for my birthday recently. My other half seen my Autumn Wishlist post I had done a few weeks previously, and of course I had to mention these gorgeous brushes on it! I first heard about these from Karen at Lovely Girly Bits back a few months ago. Karen was literally hugging these, so I knew I had to try them out! Nima Brush is owned by the lovely Niamh Martin. Fond of makeup brushes herself, she seen a gap in the market for good quality brushes that will last, but also easily affordable for everyone. To be honest, I only own one MAC brush and the rest are a mix of pharmacy branded ones and Real Techniques. Yes, they done the job but when I seen Niamh’s brushes on her website, they just looked amazing – I had to have them!

The 3 Piece Kabuki Set caught my eye and as any girl knows, to get the perfect finish with your foundation is a must. These looked to do just the job! I also love the rose gold ferrule  – its quite unique to all other brushes out there, and also added another touch of luxury to the brushes.

This brush is ideal of you are looking to get full even coverage with your foundation. It can also be used with a mineral powder foundation too.

This is my favourite for applying my foundation – its just so pleasant to use! Again this can be used with mineral foundation and also powders.

I use this mainly for applying setting powder. I also use it to apply bronzer and blush. You will get so much use from this brush.

All brushes in the Kabuki Set are made from Taklyon Synthenic and designed to bounce back into shape, no matter what pressure is applied to them. Real Techniques also use Taklyon Synthetic which is what makes the brushes suitable for both liquids and powders.

Out of all the beauty products I have accumulated over the past few months, these are by FAR my favourite out of everything. I was so happy when I received them, and I am hoping to invest in some eye brushes for Christmas. Niamh has also released a new collection called the Artistic Collection. Set on a beautiful duck-egg blue handle, these brushes just look amazing and they are all named after special ladies in her life.

If you are looking to treat yourself this Christmas, or someone you know who loves their makeup, I cannot recommend these highly enough. They are fantastic value at €40.00 for the set, individually to buy they are €18.00 each. Hats off to Niamh and wishing her the best of luck with her business.

Much love x
