My June Favourites

DSC_0349_Fotor

At last the Summer weather is here! Although I honestly can’t believe how quick the month’s are passing by and I’m onto June Favourites already! This month I’ve a mix of skin care, makeup, fragrance and hair products that I found myself reaching to so many times!

CHI Infra Treatment Conditioner

If you have never heard of this before, either did I until last month! While having a nosey around All Beauty, I found this on sale for €5.99, it’s usually about €18 / €19. It’s a big enough bottle at 355ml and I have to say it’s flippin fantastic. For anyone that uses GHD’s (a lot more than they should!) it gives that extra protection to the hair and leaves it feeling so soft and nourished too!

L’Oreal Elvive Fibrology Thickness Booster

This is a fab little product if you have fine hair and need that extra oomph. You just mix equal amounts with your normal conditioner and use as normal. The only downside is the twist cap which can be a little fiddly when your hands are wet, a flip cap would be much better but I’d still re-purchase this again. It’s €7.99 and lasts me quite a while as I tend to just use it at the weekends. More info here

Nimue “Leave On” Face Mask

As the name suggests, this a face mask that you can leave on overnight. Before I tried this I’d wear other face masks overnight but they always felt a bit tacky and usually just ended up on my pillowcase. This is great as it sinks into the skin like a night moisturiser and as it states not to use any other face products while using it, it’s a one step wonder. I just use my usual eye cream because if this gets near your eyes, it will sting like hell! You wake up with amazing feeling skin though, and if you have a night on the town and NEED to look somewhat human the next day, this is your saviour! Love it! I think it’s is around €35.00.

Wet n Wild Mega Plump Double Menace Mascara

I have found myself reaching for this mascara everyday! It has a different wand at each end –  a thin wand for your lower lashes and a thicker one for the upper lashes. It does what is says and lasts all day with no clumping or smudging. It’s also really easy to layer this mascara too. A good tip is to use the small wand to coat your upper lashes first as it catches all the teeny ones, then go over again with the larger wand. At €5.49 it’s a complete bargain!

Wet n Wild “In the Flesh” Lipstick

Those of you that love MAC “Velvet Teddy”, well this is a complete dupe for it and if I’m honest, I prefer this one! It lasts a hell of a lot longer on the lips than MAC and for €2.99 you can’t go wrong! It’s a perfect “your lips but better” shade and I’ve literally worn nothing else on my lips this month! When it runs out I will definitely be buying another!

Physicians Formula “Shimmer Strips” Kohl Kajal Eyeliners

I love kajal liners – they are so quick and easy to use. These ones from Physicians Formula are lovely and creamy and have a hint of shimmer in each one. I like to use these under my eye if I’m doing a brown toned smokey eye as they last really well and also along the waterline. They come in a pack of 3 that includes these two shades plus black, but you can also get other colour combinations. These are available on Dolledup.ie. at €16.90 for the trio.

Dolce & Gabbanna Light Blue EDT

By no means a new fragrance, it’s around years but a favourite of mine every Summer. I love using this on warm days as it smells so fresh and lasts really well. It’s not too over-powering either so it’s perfect for everyday wear and the office.

So that’s my favourites for this month. Let me know if you have used any of these products too and whether you liked them or not!

Much love,

Leanne xx

Fantastic picks, Leanne – I love when people have favourites that I’m not familiar with, I always learn about new products! That hair treatment sounds brilliant. As does the lippie – I like Velvet Teddy a lot but it’s so drying! I love the sound of the mascara too.

Great products indeed! No wonder why you love these. I am eyeing on that DOLCE & GABBANNA LIGHT BLUE EDT. Kinda made me curious on its scent since i am really looking for a Summer scent.

It’s a lovely scent for Summer but very wearable all year round for daytime wear too. Well worth it! x

Love, love, love Light Blue! So summery. That conditioner sounds fab too – I’m a GHD addict so my hair needs some serious TLC. Lovely picks x
