We all have those few makeup gems that we know will make us look more human in 5 minutes flat! I’ve found myself reaching for these few products time and time again as they really allow me to achieve a neutral but polished look, without too much effort.
MAC ProLongwear Foundation and MAC ProLongwear Concealer
Both of these used together will give me a flawless base and I can skip the primer as this foundation goes nowhere for the day! The concealer is amazing at covering any redness or spots and is also really long lasting.
Rimmel Wake Me Up Under-Eye Concealer
A quick swipe of this under the eyes is enough to get rid of any dark circles and makes me look instantly more awake. I also use it as a slight highlight on the cheekbones and forehead.
Max Factor Excess Shimmer Eyeshadow in “Copper”
I love this cream eyeshadow and you can use it without a brush, which is dead handy! This colour is a beautiful taupe shade and really helps make the eyes pop!
Physicians Formula Liquid Eyeliner
This is THE only liquid eyeliner that I can use – it’s literally foul-proof! I just use this for a simple line on the lid, no fancy cat-eye unless I really do have time to spare!
Physicians Formula Kajal Liner
I use this for tight-lining the outer corners of the eye, just for a bit more definition. This liner stays put all day and is so simple to use. Depending on time, I might sometimes skip this step.
Seventeen Falsifeye HD Mascara
My HG mascara and I am now on my 4th one! (previously reviewed here). Two coats of this and I have lovely fluttery lashes for the day with no clumps. If you don’t have it – BUY IT!
Eylure Brow Crayon
This is a fantastic brow product when you just want a natural brow and nothing over the top. The waxiness of the crayon makes filling in brows so quick and easy, and the best thing is that it needs no sharpening!
NYX in the shade “Rose Garden”
This blush is really pigmented and immediately brightens up your whole face! The shade is perfect for both Summer and Winter and last for hours!
MAC Lipstick in “Lovelorn”
I do love my pinks but this is quite a neutral pink shade. It is also part of the lustre range so it is perfect for just a pop of colour thats not too strong. I sometimes use this as a cream blush too!
So there you have it, they are my ‘go-to’ products for a natural look when I’m rushing out the door. I’d love to know if any of these have made it to your make-up bag too?
Thanks so much for reading.
