So I’m back blogging after a whopping 6 weeks away! Real life just had to be dealt with so between work and lots going on at home I just couldn’t find the time to photograph let alone sit and write a post! I’ve SO many products to review and they will all be up on the blog over the coming weeks. In the meantime, I’m kicking off with a store that opened in Trimgate Street, Navan in late 2015 – Mise Beauty. What’s the deal you say? Just take a look at what gems you will find here and you’ll see why!
Back in late January I took a trip down to Mise Beauty and met with the owner Tracey and beautician Aoife who were both SO nice and welcoming. What I can say is I know the feeling kids get when they walk into a toy store…when you walk in here it’s makeup and skincare HEAVEN! We all know of Space NK and that it’s the ‘must visit’ beauty mecca when you are in Dublin. Mise is pretty much like that….but for us country folk – yay! They actually stock a better selection of products than Space NK in my opinion.
So kicking off there is a huge selection of skincare…..I mean huge! You have your pick of REN, Oskia, PIXI, Caudalie & Trilogy to just name a few. Some of my local chemists stock REN & Caudalie but Mise have pretty much everything in stock from these ranges.
The selection of REN and Trilogy
Everything you could need from PIXI
Beautiful gift sets
Oskia Micro Exfoliating Balm & Renaissance Mask – on my list of next purchases!!
Little pots of magic from PIXI
The best range of Caudalie I’ve ever seen
Huge range of REN including my favourite REN One Minute Facial
They stock Laurens Way tan which I have yet to try but have heard so many good things about it, and they also offer this in a spray tan too. Also, Cocoa Brown which is a staple in every girls bathroom!
I have only ever been able to purchase my Z-palettes off either Beauty Bay or Ebay, but here there is every size and design you could ever need. A must for travel or just having all your favourite shadows in one place. I purchased the large Z-palette which I filled up with my most used MAC shadows and blushes.
For nails you have a selection of Lottie polishes and the Olivia Palmero’s collection for Ciate. Ciate polishes are my ultimate favourite polishes and the shades from Olivia’s range are great everyday shades that you will get lots of use from.
Haircare is covered with the highly recommended Kardashian Beauty range. I for one usually stay away from anything Kardashian related but the dry shampoo from this range has got amazing reviews so I may just have to try that out. For a cheaper alternative there is also Co-Lab stocked which is a great dry shampoo too.
Last but certainly not least is the makeup….did I mention Kevin Aucoin? Yes you heard right, you can get your hands and try out the range from Kevin here. Also Caitlyn is stocked with their famous O! Wow brush, and new brand ILIA. You will also find Crown Brush contour palettes and the famous Beauty Blenders in stock.
Phew, I could go on and on but let’s just say you really need to check this place out of you are in the area, and if you are a little more up north, they also have a shop in Dundalk too! If you would rather shop online you can check out their website here and Facebook here.
Apologies for the low-quality photos, I was working off my ipad that day! 🙁
