Yay I’m getting to do a favourites post, as I completely forgot to do one last month! First day of Summer today, let’s hope the weather starts getting better! I need to get my tootsies out!
The Make up
I have already reviewed this L’Oreal Infallible 24 Hr Matte foundation, but I literally have been using it every day this month. I am well over half way through the tube so it’s a good thing that it’s 35ml instead of the usual 30ml that usually foundations are.
This Clarins Under Eye concealer is as good as I thought it would be! I get about 6 hours before I see a little creasing which is good for me, I will get a little longer if I take time to set it properly. This shade 01 is nice and light so it really brightens up the under eye area and conceals dark circles perfectly.
At the Wet n’ Wild launch a few weeks ago, we received the most amazing goodie bags, and inside was this Idol Eyes shadow pencil in “Pixie”. It’s just the most beautiful shimmering nude shade and gives a lovely pop of colour on the lid with zero effort! I like to use it on the inner corners of my eyes too. It’s very like the NYX “Milk” eye pencil but better in my opinion! I’m going to have to check out what other shades these come in!
Also in the goodie bag was this Wet n’ Wild juicy lip balm. I’m a total lip balm junkie and love when they give some colour to the lips too. Really handy for throwing into the handbag. This is a gorgeous fuchsia shade so I’m loving this for Summer.
This Rimmel lipliner in “Eastend Snob” has also been a firm favourite for a more nude lip with a touch of clear lip gloss. It’s extremely creamy – to the point that it can break very easily so you really need to take care when applying, but it’s a fab colour on the lips if your looking for a nude day shade.
For day moisturiser I have been loving this Boots Botanics All-Bright Day Cream SPF15. We all know of the famous Radiance Balm, this is the moisturiser in the same range. If you are having a no makeup day, this will give your skin SUCH as amazing glow, and it’s a lot more liquid in texture than the balm so you can really massage it into the skin. I also use it under makeup aswell. I will definitely be picking up another one of these!
This Primaluce moisturiser from Bioline Jato* is not specifically a night moisturiser but this stuff has literally changed my skin! It’s a little on the pricey side so I will get longer out of it if I just use it at night, and luckily I’m still getting the same results. I’ll do a separate blog post on this but my god….it’s brand new skin in a jar!!!!
I love John Frieda when it comes to fighting the frizz and this Daily Miracle leave-in conditioner is so good! It’s also a heat protectant so it’s like two products in one! I spray this all over before blow-drying and my hair stays a lot less frizz free until the next wash.
The downside to straightening curly hair is that it can sometimes look a bit lank and lifeless, and this dry texturising spray from V05 is great for just getting a bit of volume and body into my hair. It really gives some life to Day No.2 hair and the best part is that it dosen’t dry out my hair, which is something I noticed with previous salt sprays.
Have you found the love for any of these products, or what was tickling your fancy this month?
Thanks for reading, much love
