MAC Pro Longwear Concealer

Amazing-cov1

I have always had rocky relationship with MAC, mainly with their foundations. As my Clinique under-eye concealer was running out, and hearing so much praise for the Pro-Longwear concealer, I decided to bite the bullet and try it out.

From living in the “sticks”, a trip to the big smoke only happens every so often, so I ordered directly from Brownthomas.com. They offer a fab service and was delivered with 2 days! The concealer is €20 for 9ml.

My previous foundations from MAC were in the NC15 – 25 range, so I went for NC20 in the concealer. It comes in a small glass pump, which I really don’t like! I suppose its hygienic but it pumps out WAY too much product, especially if you only want to use for under eyes. I have figured out a very gentle “half pump” motion which works most of the time!

The product itself is nothing short of amazing! I have never used a concealer before that is so light-weight yet provides excellent coverage. Its perfect for covering any redness and the formula does not cake at all. The best part is that there was no creasing under my eyes during the day, something that happened so much with previous concealers.

Overall, I would highly recommend this. a little really does go a long way and I can see this lasting for a while. It would be great if it came in a tube though instead, as the pump is a bit hit and miss!

Other than that I will definitely re-purchase and its HG status for the immediate future!

Do you use this concealer? Whats your thoughts?
