I loved a lot of products this month but still road-testing most of them. I found myself reaching to these most days and the best part is they are all budget buys! So here goes.
L’Oreal Extraordinary Oil
This is by no means a newly launched product, I probably have this for a good 6 months or so, but with the lovely sunny weather we had, my hair did get very dry. I also got highlights AND a colour so my hair is not thanking me very much at the minute. I have been using this oil each time I wash my hair. I use 2 pumps and comb through before blow-drying, and also 1 pump after styling to clam down any frizziness. This is a fab hair product to use. It leaves your hair really soft and helps with any dryness or frizziness. I will easily get another 6 months from this bottle.
John Frieda Full Repair Intense
I picked this up in Boots recently, and I love the fact that it is heat-activated – exactly what I need. This is a serum that you apply to from the mid-section down to the ends of your hair to help stop breakage and split-ends. I have found that my hair is that bit stronger when brushing and it is definitely not breaking as much. Again, I love that this will last a long time as only 2 pumps are needed.
Revlon Glitter Nail Varnish in “Girly”
Oh my magpie eyes were drawn to this immediately! I never buy glitter nail varnish in general but this is such a pretty colour! You can wear on its own, which I did on my hands and it takes about 4 coats to get the nice pink under-tone colour and lots of sparkle. I also used this on my toes with a mint colour underneath and one coat of this on top. Basically this will make any colour varnish you have, into a sparkly one. I just love it and will go with nearly every colour of varnish that I have.
Rimmel Fix & Perfect Primer
I absolutely adore my Mac primer, but I needed something a little bit easier on the pocket to wear everyday. I tend to keep the Mac one for weekends or social occasions as it is quite pricey. This is a really good primer, my skin felt really silky afterwards and made a great base for foundation. I did notice more longevity in my foundation with this, a good 6 hours without touch-ups, which is great for a product under a tenner.
Revlon Ultimate Suede Lipstick in “Finale”
I was looking for a lipstick that to give a nice pop of colour but quite moisturising. This is the new “Suede” lipstick collection and it gives a lovely semi-matte finish. I love the packaging too, you just click up the amount you need. I might actually get a few more of these.
Seventeen Falsifeye HD Mascara
I won’t babble on too much about this, I have done a full review already and it is just pure amazeyballs! For under €9, get one…now!
Rimmel Perfect Match Concealer
Again this is not a new product but I only bought this a few weeks ago when my Clinique Under-eye concealer ran out. I can tell you, this blows it out of the water! It’s not for use over spots, well not for me anyway, but it’s really fantastic at covering up bags and dark circles and really brightening up the whole under-eye area. It dosen’t crease either, which is a big problem with concealers. This is will definitely re-purchase.
What were your favourites this month? Have you tried any of these products?
Much love x
