Yes yes I know, one month I’m subscribed the next I’m not. As always I’ve a love/hate relationship with subscription boxes but I bought a 3-month subscription at Christmas so let’s see how we go!
This month’s theme was “The Edible Edit” – a box full of organic goodies. Here’s what was inside:
Unani Illuminate Milk Cleanser
Never heard of this brand but this smells reaaaally good and has a lovely milky texture. With double cleansing, I always like to have a nice milk cleanser to go in with after a balm so this will be put to good use. (Full-size)
TheBalm Meet Matt(e) Trimony Single Eyeshadow
How cute!!! Most eyeshadows you receive in a subscription box are shades I would never use but this is a nice warm matte brown/plum shade. The only problem is I think I’m allergic to something in theBalm eyeshadows as I couldn’t use any of the Nude’tude palettes. I’ll try this and see, and if it works I will de-pot into my z-palette. (Same size as in the palette)
Vitamasques Manuka Honey Face Mask
I love sheet masks as they are a great excuse to stay horizontal for 10 minutes!! I’m not a fan of a strong honey scent so hopefully this one isn’t too bad to use. Manuka honey is great for break-outs so will save this for the usual hormonal spots I get at that time of the month.
Nip & Fab Kale Fix Moisturiser
This contains kale (obviously!) almond oil, aloe vera and shea butter. The scent is a bit “veggie-like” so will have to see if that fades when applied. Nip+Fab do great products so no doubt this will be nice and mositurising. ( Deluxe sample)
Spa to You Konjac Sponge
I did receive one of these back during the Summer – a smaller version for the face. To be honest I only used once as I think these could harbour bacteria. I’ll use this as a shower scrub though and will come in handy for a good exfoliation. (Full-size)
Overall it’s a decent box with the winners for me being the cream cleanser and eyeshadow (hopefully it won’t irritate!)
Did you receive a Glossybox this month? What were your thoughts?
