December Favourites

December_Fotor

Hi everyone!

I haven’t done a dedicated monthly favourites post in a while so what better time than the end of the year! I treated myself to a few bit n pieces this month – some I am still on the fence about but I’ve narrowed it down to these 6 little beauties. I have found myself reaching for them a lot over the past few weeks.

Cocoa Brown 1hr Tan

Probably a staple in every girl’s bathroom across the country, and if its not well it bloody well should be! I took a bit of a tanning break over the last few months but started back coming up to the Christmas season. Hands down there is no other tan thats so foul proof and more importantly, not orange! The 1hr tan is perfect for my skin tone as its not overly dark, just gives a great glow. I also use this on my face and it never breaks me out or gives me an “oompa loompa” face. For €7.99 you really can’t go wrong!

Roberto Cavalli Eau de Parfum

I am absolutely loving this fragrance! It’s very much a Winter evening perfume with an aromatic blend of orange blossom, benzoin and pink pepper with creamy vanilla and Tonka bean. Delicious!! This retails at €61.00 but got it for a steal at €35.00 on its.fabuless.com!

GlamGlow SuperMud

I tried a few samples of this before I handed over my hard earned dollar for a full-size. I was just blown away at the results from the very first use! This particular one is for problem skin that’s prone to breakouts, open pores etc. I will do a full review on this soon – it’s well worth the money. I bought this on Beauty Features for €47.00.

Sally Hanson Miracle Gel Top Coat

This is the latest offering from the Sally Hanson range. I bought the varnish that goes with it but to be honest it’s nothing special. Its this Top Coat thats the magic! You can wear this over any nail varnish and it honestly gives them a very realistic gel-like finish! You can easily get a full week from your varnish and really high shine. This was on special in Hickeys Chemist for €7.49, I think the usual retail price is €9.99 but well worth it.

Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 Palette

I have been reaching for this palette practically EVERY day since I got it. I had the original Naked Basics palette last year but there was just to many pale colours in it that I just wasn’t a fan. This one is perfect with its mix of cool taupe shades and a good range of lighter and darker colours. Packaging is amazing and its the perfect size to bring around in your bag. I bought this from The Cosmetic Outlet for €21.00, usual price is €29.00. Worth every cent!

Urban Decay Make-up Setting Spray

This is a 30ml travel size as I wanted to test it out before buying the full-size. It does exactly what it says on the tin! My makeup does not budge all day, and for nights out – no touch ups were needed apart from the aul lippy. I’m coming to the end of this so I will be off to buy a full-size in the New Year for sure. This was €12.00 and lasted me quite a while.

Are there any products here that you also feel the love for?

Thanks for reading and I wish you a very Happy 2015.

Much love x

I never even thought of using that Sally Hansen Top Coat on any other nail polishes. Thanks so much for the tip, I must try it! 🙂

I wear the Sally Hanson Top Coat over my normal nail polishes and it really does make such a difference! Nothing worse than chipped nails!!
