Since Bioderma announced a few weeks ago that they were launching their cult brand onto our shores, it’s been the hot topic in the blogging world! The product we are most familiar with is their micellar water, and many celebrity makeup artists swear by it! You are bound to see a bottle in the background at the likes of London Fashion Week.
I recently attended the official launch in Residence as few days ago, and learnt so much about the brand itself. There are so many products suited to every skin type, and all are a lot more keenly priced then I thought!
Bioderma have eleven different brand ranges in total and four of those will be available to us Irish girlies this June. The packaging is clean, easy to read and colour coded depending on the skin type you have. This makes it so easy for everyone to tailor a full skin care routine specifically for their own needs.
Sensibio: This range is targeted towards sensitive skin, redness & rosacea and seborrhoeic dermatitis. Colour coded in Red and a god send to us sensitive Irish skin types!
Sébium: As the name would suggest, this is for the oily and acne prone skin types and colour coded Green, There is a specific micellar water and a stand out product is the Pore Refiner which helps mattify the t-zone and minimise enlarged pores and great under makeup.
Atoterm: This is aimed at very dry to atopic sensitive skin and colour coded in Blue. With a range of creams and body washes, it’s also suitable for children. I did try their Light Moisturising Cream, and it felt extremely nourishing on the skin.
Photoderm: This is a range of sun protection and different textures are available such as a milk, cream or spray. It also goes up to SPF100 for very fair skin!
I have been using the BB cream* and it’s fantastic! I was never a huge fan of BB creams before, and any I did try, left my face pretty shiny and felt greasy as the day went on!
I love that this is a matte finish and quite good coverage too plus it has SPF30! It is for anyone who suffers from redness or rosacea (hand up here!) and it really did give my skin a lovely finish. I still have to go in with some concealer as I have a lot of scarring, but definitely a Summer staple!
If you are looking for a new skin care routine that works, I would highly recommend you check these out next month! Prices are very affordable too with the Sensibo H20 (Micellar water) 100ml at €5.50 and the BB Cream is €17.50 for 40ml. Most of the products fall in under the €20.00 mark and for a list of stockists just drop me an email leanne@blatherandbeauty.ie and I will send it along.
Is this a brand you think you will check out?
Much love,
