On Friday MeMeMe cosmetics had an event in McGrane’s Pharmacy in Trim, Co. Meath. It was great to be able to pop along to an event that for once wasn’t held in Dublin as I usually can’t make a lot of them! MeMeMe is a brand that I’m familiar with but wasn’t readily available near me, which now won’t be a problem! The stand itself in the pharmacy is fully stocked with a tonne of products I never got a chance to test out properly before!
Makeup artist Margaret was there on the day doing beautiful makeovers on anyone who wished to get one. She lovely and chatty with both myself and customers alike and told us all about the brand itself and went into lots of detail about the different products available. The first thing you notice about MeMeMe is the packaging – it’s adorable and looks a lot more expensive than it is! I had great fun swatching lots of eyeshadows, lipsticks and blushers and honestly the quality of them is fantastic!
I really want to go back and pick up this “Seventh Heaven” Makeup base as it’s meant to be a fantastic dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream, except near €70 cheaper!! It smells gorgeous too! Also another product my beady eyes picked up on was their illuminator called “Angels with Halos”. I’m addicted to skin illuminators under my foundation lately, and this is definitely one I need to try out!
I have a few products that I will just show you here and my first impressions (honest as always!) As I use them a bit more I will post some in-depth reviews.
First off is their Ultimate Eye Palette in Classic, so lots of lovely neutral shades. These swatch really well and the pigment is good. I have yet to wear them properly so I will report back on longevity and creasing.
Illuminating Shimmer Stack in Pink Zest. A gorgeous pink-toned highlighter and can also be used on the lids for a Summery sheen. Pigmentation is light but what I would expect from a highlighter, no one wants to be light up like a Christmas tree! 🙂
Boho Balm Lip & Cheek Tint. I am really loving this as its such a handy product to keep in your bag! The shades a gorgeous on both cheeks and lips and you can use whichever shade you want depending on your mood!
Arch Angel Brow Gel and Highlighter. Again another great one as it’s two products in one! The brow brush is nice and small and the formula not overly gloopy so its easy to apply and the highlight cream….my god its love! It looks scary on swatch but only a dab is needed to give lovely defined brows.
Correct & Perfect Concealer Kit. This is a cream pot concealer with your under-eye setting powder housed underneath. On first impressions I think this may be a bit too thick for under the eye area but will make a great spot and blemish concealer. The setting powder is quite light so this may be nice under the eyes just to highlight.
Flawless Cream Foundation. They state that this foundation is suitable for all skin types, which I am not to fond of but I’ll see how it fares on my dry skin. It has a sheen finish so it should be ok but not sure how this would sit with someone of an oilier skin type. The shade is a tad bit dark but blended out it might just be ok. The packaging is good though with a pump, which is a thumbs up from me.
Light Me Up High Shine Lip Gloss. I have seen these with the little lights inside the lid – such a gadget! It also has a mirror on the side incase you need to apply on the go. This is a real Barbie pink shade but can be used sheer or for stronger colour you can just apply another layer. Nice Spring / Summer shade.
I will get testing these and report back on my thoughts. Apologies that I don’t have prices of the products, I will try get them for the reviews later on. Overall I was really impressed with what MeMeMe have to offer and if you come across a stand, make sure to check some of the products out! Thanks also to McGrane’s pharmacy and you can visit them on Facebook here.
Thanks for reading, much love

I love the sound of that makeup base, I love bases! The shimmer stack looks gorgeous too.
I really do like the look of the Pinky Shimmer Stack (eye shadow) I’ve been looking for one with those colourings and now i’ve found one. A great post. Angela xx
