This was going to be a review of the Flawless Wonder Brush but to be honest, there’s not much to review! I’ve no idea how anyone could apply foundation or contour with this – all I got was product moved around my face!
I’ve tried liquid foundation, cream foundation and also powder but this brush and I could not get acquainted…..no matter how hard we tried!
Posting negative reviews is always a hard thing to do – this is my happy place, but I HAVE found 3 fab other uses for this brush, ever the thrifty me!
Applying skin care products!
Recently Kylie Jenner was seen getting her moisturiser applied by a very similar brush. The world went into Kylie frenzy as to why they never thought of this before? Maybe because our hands to a pretty decent job, but actually applying moisturiser, especially thicker night moisturisers, is quite a pleasant experience using this brush! DONT use it for serums as the dense bristles will just suck everything up, but getting a little bit of a facial massage in at night time with this, is awesome!
Fixing tan around your hands and feet!
Hands up who gets their tan perfect every time in these places! It’s a right pain in the ass but dampen this brush, or apply some moisturiser to it and gently brush over your knuckles, wrists, between toes and around your ankles. It will blend everything in like a dream and hydrate the area at the same time!
Taking off clay masks!
If you like to use clay masks (I’ve just started using one by Dermalogica which is fab) taking them off can entail lots of rubbing and scrubbing, and not in the skin friendly way! When the mask is fully set, dampen your brush and gently use it in circular motions all around the face. This also “loosens” the mask making it easier to take off with a warm flannel, whilst allowing the mask to give a gentle exfoliation.
So while this brush was utter pants for me with it’s intended purpose, I still use it multiple times a week!
If you have this brush, how did you get on? And if you try any of the above be sure to let me know!
